Furious with Vercentia's attempts to defeat the Leviathans, the general Darius defected with his Avalon to the outlands. There he carved a bloody path through every beast he met, amassing a grateful following beneath his banner. He and his army now storm across the land to liberate its people—first from monsters, then the folly of impotent leadership.
