Long ago, Nautilus had been a fisherman by his friend Xerath's side. Together the two discovered a mass of powerful crystals, and greed drove his comrade to cast Nautilus into the water to drown. A single crystal sustained him and, as he slumbered, corrupted and empowered his body and mind. But even this could not destroy his strongest desire—revenge.
